The AES team was proud to attend the Las Vegas Pack Expo this past October. It was the first show for the company and what a great show it was! Located in Central Hall in booth 4016, AES was fortunate to be right in the middle of the action.
Central Hall was busy throughout the three days with a good number of attendees stopping by the AES booth to learn more about the Sapphire Flow Wrapper and Garnet Smart Belt Infeed.
With the Pack Expo canceled in 2020 due to Covid 19, there was plenty of buzz and excitement for the show's return. Attendees were eager to see all of the new advancements in technologies for 2021, as well as what's to come in 2022.
While it was not quite at the level the show had reached in previous years, there was still a solid turnout with just over 23,000 registered attendees.
While Sapphire was not the only flow wrapper on display, it was the only flow wrapper displayed using magnetic direct drive technology. The mag-drive eliminates the need for a motor or gearbox, which was one of Sapphire's key differentiators.
By using electromagnetic force to create rotary motion, no lubricants are used above the food line. This ensures a food-safe environment, making it ideal when wrapping bakery and confectionery products.
Exhibiting at the show provided AES an opportunity to showcase new marketing material that had been developed just before the show (see links below).
Of course, nothing beats being able to see the innovative packaging equipment firsthand. Both the Sapphire Flow Wrapper and Garnet Infeed were on display, allowing booth visitors to see the machine in action.
While the Pack Expo has concluded, we look forward to building on the momentum generated from the show.
